Francois Antoin De Group werkte als wolwever wanneer hij in februari 1808 te Temse huwde met de kantwerkster Marie Gijselinck. Marie was geboren in Basel maar woonde in 1808 in Temse. Zowel Francois-Antoin als Marie's vader waren geletterd. Francois-Antoin kon bij zijn huwelijk in 1808 niet schrijven.



Gezin woonend in de Kasteelstaat in Temse (in 1820) naast Joannes De Meirleir. In 1819 naast Jean Huys.


Frans Antoon kon niet schrijven.


Dochter Joanna woonde even in Hulst, Nadien naar Sint-Niklaas. Huwde met voddenverkoper Buytaert. Ze overleed in haar woning in de Klein-Hulsttraat te Sint-Niklaas.


Dochter trok met Armerotte naar La Madeleine,


Zoon Constantin was in Gent in 1843, Lille in 1864, nageslacht naar Dowaai


Zoon Louis trok  met Vann Acker naar Lille (waren er in 1876, in Loos Rijsel in 1850!)


Kleinzoon August Emiel huwde in La Madeleine in 1874
