She is married to Ferdinandus Franciscus "Frans" van Landeghem.

Francis Van Landeghem werd geboren in Sint-Gillis-Waas als zoon van Pieter Van Landeghem en Christina Vermaesen. Rond 1830 trekt hij met zijn ouderlijk gezin van Sint-Gillis-Waas naar de geboorte plaats van vader Pieter, Temse. Francis zijn ouders gaan daar werken als landbouwers. Hijzelf zal als  19-jarige knaap aan de slag als blokmaker.


In 1850 is Francis 27 jaar oud. Hij woont in Groot-Bazel en werkt er op het gelaag. In september van dat jaar huwt hij in Rupelmonde  met handwerkster Maria Elisabeth Bollé. Beide waren ongeletterd. Het koppel gaat wonen op “De Gelagen” in Bazel. “Het Gelaag” was eigenlijk een deel van Steendorp, dat vroeger een gehucht van Bazel was.Een gelaag is een plaats waar klei wordt ontgonnen om er baksteen van te maken. Het koppel  krijgt twee kinderen: Victoria (1851) en Charles Louis (1852-1930). Negen maand na de geboorte van hun zoon, overlijd Elisabeth Bollé.


Francis blijft werken op het gelaag en leert Juliana Van Antwerpen kennen. Eén jaar na het overlijdenvan Francis zijn eerste vrouw, hertrouwt hij in mei 1854 te Bazel met de Bazelse Juliana Van Antwerpen. Hij is op dat moment 30 jaar oud. Zijn kersverse echtgenote is dan 31 jaar. Slechts vier maand na het huwelijk overlijd Juliana Van Antwerpen in Bazel.


 


In oktober 1855, ruim één jaar na het overlijden van Francis zijn eerste vrouw, hertrouwt Francis voor de derde maal. Deze keer huwt hij met de 8 jaar jongere trenswerkster Regina Vijdt. Als trenzenmaakster was Regina een professionele vlechter. Trenswerksters waren vrouwen die aan haarbewerking deden, bv. om haarstukken op bepaalde breedte af te werken.  Francis en Regina Het koppel kreeg 10 kinderen. Van 1855 tot ca. 1865 woont het koppel met hun eerste kinderen op de gelagen in Bazel. In 1863 verhuizen ze kort even naar de Kapelstraat in Bazel. In de periode  1867-ca.1870 wonen ze in de Oeverstraat in Steendorp. In 1872 woont het gezin opnieuw in de Kapelstraat te Bazel. Al vanaf 1883 tot hun overlijden is het koppel terug te vinden in de te Temse. Francis werkt tot aan zijn overlijden op 71-jarige leeftijd. Hij sterft in hun woning in de Veldstraat te Temse. Nadien verhuisd zijn vrouw Regina naar de Oeverstraat in Temse, waar zein 1899 op 68 jarige leeftijd.
