VS 1972 p.337ev: jan was schepen van bazel in 1552, hij hield in 1528 zeven bunder leen uit de heerlijkheid ten loghenhaghe, zijn vrouw hield acht gemeten uit de heerlijkheid ter varent (Feud blz 332 en 351), het leen van de vrouw lag in de oostelijke hoek van de huidige hospitaalstraat en kapelstraat te steendorp, in 1527 zegelde jan het denombrement van dit leen met een klaverblad (F koller wapenboek waas nr 356).
