Paulina Van Praet kreeg twee kinderen met Guiliemus Brems: Ludovicus en Maria Julia. Wanneer Guilielmus Brems komt te overlijden is ook hun zoon al overleden. Dochter Maria-Julia is nog in leven. Zij verhuisd mee naar Niel wanneer Paulina Van Praet begin juni 1867 naar daar trekt om 14 dagen later met Filip De Roeck te trouwen.
