Helena's ouders waren Cornelius Peeters en Clara De Keersmaecker. Cornelius werd gedoopt op 1 februari 1648 in Liezele en overleed op 67-jarige leeftijd. Hij werd begraven op 30 april 1715 in Liezele. Clara werd gedoopt op 21 november 1653 in Puurs en overleed op 89-jarige leeftijd. Zij werd begraven op 9 juli 1743 in Liezele. Cornelius en Clara trouwden op 11 juli 1673 in Liezele.


Helena trouwde op 28 april 1707 in Ramsdonk met Jan De Boeck, geboren in 1681. Jan overleed in 1721. Zijn ouders waren Cornelius De Boeck en Joanna Wellens. Helena en Jan kregen acht kinderen.


Bij Helena's doop waren Helena Aerts en Guilielmus De Maeyer de doopheffers.


Haar huwelijk met Jan De Boeck had enkele bijzondere omstandigheden. De huwelijksgetuigen waren Jan Goossens en Petrus Thielemans. In 1702 was Jan waarschijnlijkknecht in Ramsdonk bij Adriaan Solie en Margaretha Verheijden. Dit verklaart mogelijk waarom het huwelijk in Ramsdonk plaatsvond. Het huwelijk werd snel voltrokken met vrijstelling van roepen en van de besloten tijd, en de getuigen waren de koster en de lokale herbergier. Hun eerste kind werd 5,5 maand na het huwelijk geboren.


Helena's uitvaart was die van een arme.
