Notes about Dirk Bressers

Dirk, natuurlijke zoon van heer Peter Bressers, geboren vóór 1458, mondig omtrent 1471, koopt in 1481 een huis, hof en erf te Oirschot "inden Kerchof", en in 1489 een stuk beemd geheten "die Moest" in diezelfde hertgang. In laatstgenoemd jaar ruilt hij met Daniel Jan Denen zijn land van omtrent anderhalve lopensaat "soet daer gelegen is inder herscappen van Boterwijck" tegen een stuk land geheten "den Ouden Hof" van 5 lopensaat "inden Kerchof". Voor meerwaarde verkrijgt Danel nog 22 peter (van 18 stuiver het stuk) op sint-Jansmisse daaraanvolgende. De beemd "die Moest" doet Dirk in 1495 weer van de hand. In 1499 blijkt hij ook nog een erf te Oirschot aan het Vrijthof te bezitten welk gelegen is naast "den Roden Leeu". Dirk den Bresser is getrouwd met Katerijn dochter van Dirk Vereeck. Hun kinderen delen in 1522 de aanbestorven goederen. Het zijn:
1. Jan Dirk Bressers.
2. Peter Dirk Bressers.
3. Dirk Dirk Bressers.
4. Katerijn, is getrouwd met Willem Gerit sRoyen.
5. Barbara, getrouwd met Henrik Jacob Stockelmans.
6. leken, getrouwd met Daneel Ceelen van der After.
