Zijn vrouw Femmigje Vinke koopt in 1806 stoel no. 249 in de Nieuwe Kerk. In 1823 koopt Jan Roelofs Doggenaar stoel no. 47 in de Nieuwe Kerk voor f. 6,10 Volgens het Registre Civique was hij op 6 mei 1812 batelier (veerman).
