Rijk van Veen, geboren 4 maart 1869 te Zwartsluis heeft enige jaren ingewoond bij mijn grootouders aan de wingerdweg 69/1 te Amsterdam, nadat van zijn oud-buurvrouw uit Zwartsluis haar man was overleden waar hij mee ging samenwoonde in Amsterdam, als laatste op het adres Westerstraat 43 te Amsterdam. Deze buurvrouw was mijn overgrootmoeder genaamd Willemina Onstein (18-1-1865). Het verhaal gaat dat zij samen op 1 december 1927 van Zwartsluis naar Amsterdam zijn vertrokken.
Op 11 april 1957 werd hij ingeschreven op het adres Wingerdweg 69/1 te Amsterdam bij mijn grootouders. Willemina Onstein was namelijk de moeder van mijn grootmoeder. Op 13 maart 1963 is hij overgebracht naar het verzorgingshuis Amstelhof aan de Amstel 51 waar hij op 13 juni 1964 is overleden.
