De overledene, die zich altijd als een goed Jood en trouw Synagogebezoeker kenmerkte, is onder groote belangstelling, ook van andersdenkenden, ter aarde besteld, waaronder ook de plaatselijke Gereformeerde Predikant. De laatste jaren was de overledene, wat zijn gezondheidstoestand betrof, steeds achteruitgaande. Een gevoelige slag heeft, niet alleen zijn vrouw en kinderen, doch ook onze al zoo kleine gemeente door zijn heengaan getroffen.
