As the archive grows, you want to see quickly what is new. And you want to find the photos you find important quickly. That is what the activity stream and the favourites are for.
On the start page of your archive you see how many photos, stories, news items, responses and participants there are. Below that is the recent activity: who added what, and who responded to what. Click Activity for the full overview. That way you see at a glance what has happened since your last visit.
Every photo and every story has a button to mark it as a favourite. You find your favourites via Favourites in the menu. Favourites are personal: every participant has their own list.
