Wij hebben je gekend als een liefdevolle moeder, oma en omi, altijd bezorgd om haar kinderen, klein- en achterkleinkinderen.
Als je ons belde was altijd de eerste vraag: "Is alles goed"?
Je was vrolijk, hield van spelletjes, kaarten, kruiswoordpuzzels en historische boeken lezen. Ook puzzels leggen, tot diep in de nacht ging je door.
Toen je ogen je nog niet in de steek lieten, genoot je van het maken en vermaken van kleertjes voor je kinderen en kleinkinderen maar ook allerlei verstelwerk en reparatiewerk was voor jou geen enkel probleem.
Samen met Papa pasten jullie op het hondje van Miranda maar meteen deden jullie ook even de tuin erbij met al het snoeiwerk. Niets was te veel.
Van de bus vakanties naar Spanje genoten jullie enorm maar ook van de kampeer- en bungalowvakanties in Nederland, Duitsland en België.
Na het overlijden van Papa in 2001 pakte je de draad weer goed op. Het huis waar jullie samen gewoond hebben werd voor je te groot en je verhuisde naar een leuk appartement vlakbij je oude woning. Hier had je het ook goed naar je zin.
Ondanks dat je ogen steeds slechter werden genoot je toch van alles wat je nog wel zag. Je was graag in de tuin bij je kinderen en je genoot van de bloemen, vlinders, eekhoorns en vooral van de vogeltjes die af en aan vlogen.
Op de Elsthof en de Meander had je het naar je zin. Je keek graag naar buiten naar de mensen en zwaaide altijd naar ons als we weer naar huis gingen.
Afgelopen donderdag hebben we jou uit mogen zwaaien.
Mama, wij zullen altijd met onze gedachten bij je zijn. Bedankt voor alle liefde die we van je hebben mogen ontvangen.
Voor de vele vormen van medeleven en belangstelling die u heeft getoond na Mama's overlijden, zeggen wij u dank. Dit heeft ons veel steun gegeven in deze moeilijke tijd.
