In 1815 10 compareren Sybrand de Vries, chirurgijn te Amsterdam, ook als gemachtigde van ten eerste Hendrik Menkel en Elisabeth de Vries wonende in 's-Gravenhage, en ten tweede Jan Beuning, timmermansknecht, en Arnolda Geertruida Simmerlink, weduwe van Arie de Vries en voogdesse over haar minderjarige kinderen Neeltje, Barendina en Jan de Vries, wonende in Amsterdam, en voorts Teunis de Vries, bouwman, wonende te Beverwijk aan de Breestraat in huis 100, kinderen en kleinkinderen van wijlen Neeltje Schaap, weduwe van Jan de Vries, tevoren gewoond hebbende te Beverwijk, daarna bij afwisseling bij haar zoon te Amsterdam en haar zoon alhier, laatstelijk ten huize van haar dochter te 's-Gravenhage op 24 december 1813 overleden, ingevolge testament van 1 december 1809 bij notaris Ludovicus Albertus Holtz te Amsterdam, en verder Bartholomeus Josephus Craijenschot, boekverkoper te Amsterdam, benoemd als toeziende voogd. Zij zullen op 10 juni 1815 de navolgende percelen doen veilen die volgens mutueel testament van 22 augustus 1768, gepasseerd voor notaris Jan van der Cocq, Neeltje Schaap als enige erfgenaam van wijlen Jan Sijbrands de Vries had verkregen, namelijk (1) huis enz., met pakhuis, aan de Breestraat, gequoteerd 99 en 100, verhuurd aan Teunis de Vries tot 1 november 1815, (2) huis aan de Meerstraat, (3) huis in de Kloosterstraat, (4)-(7) vier stukken wei- of hooiland in de Wijkerbroek.
