ALEWIJN van GENIS WOUTERS D 58 (Kapitein te Dordrecht) In 1842 lid van zeemanscollege Dordrecht vlag D 58. (zie ledenlijst zeemanscollege 1842 en 1850/bijlage).
MariaVerdoren wonend te Vlaardingen.
Op 24-2-1840 (MRD nr 965) is hij kapitein op het kofschip ,, DIANA VAN DORDRECHT,,
reder Gerard Mauritz te Dordrecht. (zie overzicht monsterrollen 1814/1840 / bijlage).
In 1844 is hij kapitein op de brik ,,AURORA,, 70 last / reder Gerard Mauritz te Dordrecht en op 7-2-1844 wordt er in de Dordtsche Courant melding gemaakt dat hij de haven van Workinton is binnen gelopen met veel schade en de fokke- en bezaanmast had verloren.
Op 28-2-1848 is hij kapitein op het kofschip ,,HELENA,, reder Visser en van der Sande te
Dordrecht en vertrekt naar Liverpool met 1e stuurman K van Alewijn uit Vlaardingen.
Hij is getrouwd met Neeltje Kalishoek (1809 Vlaardingen). In 1850 woont hij aan de Varkensmarkt 338 te Dordrecht samen met zijn vrouw en kinderen geboren te Dordrecht: Arie (1836), Genis (1840), Wouter (1847).
Op 31-7-1857 krijgt de weduwe van kapitein v Alewijn f 100, - uitgekeerd van het zeemanscollege te Dordrecht
