In de stamreeks van het Utrechtsche geslacht Van Haeften,
zooals deze in de jaargangen 1914 en 1942 van Nederland's
Adelsboek is `opgenomen, staat een fout, welke verbetering
behoeft: Maria Barbar,a Krag Benaamd Scharken, die 13 Mei
17.59 te Batavia met Adriaan van Haeften huwde, is namen-lijk
niet geboren te Drontheim, maar te Negapatnam aan de
kust van Coromandel. Haar vader Krag, die als Jan Scharken
Jens en als soldaat voor de 0. 1. `C, in 1729 naar Indië ging,
was in 1709 te Drontheim geboren.
