Alardus, nobilis vir, de Buren, miles, was getrouwd met een zuster van de pincerna Stephanus de Businchem; onder hun kinderen worden in 1248 genoemd oa. dominus Hubertus de Buren, miles, Stephanus, famulus, Wenemarus, famulus, die dus de namen van hun ooms droegen. Alardus, nobilis vir, de Buren en zijn vrouw .... van Businchem, wier voornaam onbekend is, waren op 12 maart 1248 reeds overleden (O.B.U., II, 1163).
