Jetts is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack; children, Marc (Belen) Baas of Arlington, VA, Myra (Ron) Smith of Reston, VA, Curt (Debbie) Baas of Saugatuck, MI, and Cara (Rick) Brzezinski of Springboro, OH; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jeanette was born and raised in Chandler, MN, graduated from Hope College in 1942 and from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in 1966. She served in the U.S. Navy WAVES as a Lieutenant from 1942-46 and taught English for 15 years. Jetts was also an active member of Hope and Central Reformed Churches. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at Central Reformed Church, 10 College NE, on October 9, 2005. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope College or the Reformed Church of America Women in Jeanette's name.
