He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Tillie Meeuwenberg and his brother, Harold. Arvin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Esther Meeuwenberg (Vogel); his children Randy (Pat), Tim (Jodi), Dan (Bernadette), Janine Meeuwenberg, Andrea (Scott) Wallinga, Julie (Jim) Harrington; his 29 grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brothers Vern (Ruth), Fred (Margaret), Mel (Eunice) Meeuwenberg; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Josephine Meeuwenberg, Irene Vander Wal, Andy (Bernice) Vogel, Cora Vogel, Julie Vogel, Al (Eleanor) Vogel, Ralph (Elaine) Bruxvoort; many nieces and nephews; and special family friend, Jessie Scott. Arvin was a Veteran of the Korean War and retired from G.R. Gravel after 35 years as a truck driver.
