Daughter of Markus Meyer. The 1925 Iowa census records her mother's maiden name as Valentine, but not her first name. The 1880 census records a daughter named Memke residing in the household of Markus and Rikste Meyer. In addition, Joe and Meemke named one of their daughters Rickste.
