Age 1/12y on 1870 Muncie IN census

The 1900 census gives Apr 1872 as the age of George Alvey. Either this is a different George Alvey or the age of birth on the 1900 census is wrong. George Alvey is listed as one month old on the 1870 census. He was born in order to becounted in the census in 1870.

I am editing the 1872 year as given on the 1900 census & am assuming the 1-month old George in the household of Charles & Susan Alvey in 1870 is the same as the George Alvey on the 1900 census.

Lee Russell cites the 1903-1904 Muncie city directory & adds helpful annotation which places a George E. Alvey close to the creamery people. Since the father of this George Alvey started the creamery, it seems plausible that of my severalGeorge Alveys in this family, this one could be the one to whom the directory is refering. Here is the directory citation as annotated by Lee Russell, 'George E. Alvey (Clara Miller.) conductor Union Traction Co. (Interurban.) 718 WChares. next door of George Brooks, who apparently bought the creamery on Kilgore which Charles Alvey started in Muncie.' - 15N1993
