"Raymond A. Brandt Titonka-Funeral service for Raymond A. Brandt, 71, was conducted by the Rev. Virtus Stoffregen at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, in the Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Titonka. Burial was in the church cemetery, the Winter Funeral Home of Buffalo Center in charge of arrangements.
Casket bearers were Jay Mayland, Jeff Schuller, Ron Baade, Gary Ukken, Galyn Steinberg and Harlan Asmu.
Honary bearers were Marvin Wessels, Art Beenken and John Plantz.
Raymond A. Brandt, son of William and Ella Pannkuk Brandt, was born Aug. 10, 1924, at Woden. He attended country school near Titonka through the 8th grade.
Raymond was united in marriage to Darlene Ennen of Lakota in July of 1954. They lived on the farm near Titonka until 1989 and Raymond was active in farming until he retired in 1990.
Raymond loved the old time dances, the polka and waltz and was frequently seen at the Coliseum at Worthington, MN.
Mr. Brandt died Friday, Nov. 10 (1995), in the Worthington Regional Hospital at Worthington, MN.
He is survived by five sons, Gregory, Woden; Marlin, Titonka; Darrell, Buffalo Center; William, Cannon Falls, MN and Kevin, Minneapolis. There are 11 grand-children.
Also surviving are a sister and two brothers, Alma, Mrs. Mervin Lauck, Whittemore; August, Swea City and Alvin of Titonka. His parents are deceased."
