Event: Obituary Note: GEORGE EBY George Albert Eby, the son of George and Susan Eby, one of eleven children, of which sevenpreceded him in death, was born Jan. 26, 1871 at Lena, Illinois, and departed this life April 30,1946 in his home at the age of 75 years,3 months and 4 days.While young in life he moved to Missouri, and there united with the Dunkard Church, of which he has been a faithful member.In that year of 1898 he was united in marriage with Allie Ferrenburg, of Ferrenburg, Missouri,and lived there until twenty years ago, when he with his family moved to near Wauseon, Ohio.To this union were born 9 children, of which two have preceded him in death, namely Vernaand Ted.He leaves to mourn his departure his devotedcompanion, one son, Clay Eby of Wauseon, O., six daughters, Maude Butts, Sylvia Viers, Pauletta Johnson and Alberta Armstong all ofWauseon, O., Jeanette Poorman of Pioneer, O., and Vera Armstrong of Archbold, O., 15 grandchildren, onebrother, Enoch Eby, of Missouri, two sisters, Sarah Lutz of Iowa, Margaretta Fye of Nebraska, and a host of other relatives and friends.Short services were held at the home at 1:00 P. M., and at the Dunkard Brethren Church near Wauseon at200 P. M., Friday, May 3, 1946, with Elder Melvin Roesch in charge, assisted by Elders Abruham Miller and D. W. Hostetler.
