'Robert Cloe Dies Sunday Afternoon Expires After Illness of Seven Years <>
Robert S. Cloe, 76, residing at 918 North Eleventh street, died at 2 oclock Sunday afternoon at his home following an illness of seven years.
The deceased was born May 3, 1864, in Kirkland. He had presided in Elwood for twenty-one years and was formerly employed by the Indiana Railway Company, and was in charge of the local traction station. He was a member of the WesleyanMethodist Church.
He was first married to Susan Franklin, who died in 1919. He later married Anna Shrock.
Surviving with the widow are two sons, Miley Cloe of Noblesville, and Bert Cloe, of Indianapolis, and four step-children. Fred Shrock, Mrs. Frank Layton, Mrs. Fred Stitsworth, and Mrs. Lee Duncan, all of Elwood.
The body will be returned to the family home this evening.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence with Rev. Belle Louke in charge. Burial will be made in teh Kirkland cemetery.'
