"Rollo Elton More
May 5, 1934 - June 21, 2020
Rollo Elton Moore was born in Titonka, IA, the son of Clarence and Eunice (Phelps) Moore. Even though he lost both of his parents at a very young age (his dad when he was 2 years old and his mom when he was 7 years old) he grew up to become a successful farmer and businessman.
He went to school at the country school, Portland No. 1, outside of Titonka, graduating from Titonka High School in 1952. After high school he worked for a year on the family farm before enlisting in the United States Army. He served in the Korean War,"

"working as an Engineer and building bridges. After he was honorably discharged, he returned to Titonka where he began dating Janice and would spend the next 62 years with her, the love of his life. Rollo and Janice were married on July 11, 1958, at Ramsey Reformed Church in Titonka.
Rollo began farming in 1960 and retired from farming in 1997 when they sold the farm and moved to Algona, Iowa. Rollo and Janice spent the next 23 years in Algona where he built his small business, Moore Farm Toys and enjoyed many weekends at farm toy shows. They recently moved to a beautiful senior living community in Waukee, Iowa, in order to be near family.
Rollo enjoyed his many fishing trips to Canada (he started going in 1966), collecting toy tractors, his daily visits to The Chrome for coffee, but more than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family! He was a 4-H leader, served on the Titonka Elevator Board as well as the Titonka Telephone Board, and was a member of Ramsey Reformed Church for many years and most recently, the First Presbyterian Church in Algona.
Rollo died Sunday, June 21, 2020, at his new home in Waukee surrounded by his loving family. He continued to give us that trademark Rollo Moore smirk"
