WILL OF SARAH HAGAN
In the name of God Amen. I Sarah Hagan of Charles County in the province of Maryland
being infirm of body but in sound and perfect memory do make this my last Will and
Testament as follows:
INPRIMIS: I bequeath my soul to God who gave it, my body to the earthafter my departure
to be decently buried at the charge of my estate and the discretion ofexecutors hereafter
named:
ITEM I will that my just debts and funeral charges be first paid.
ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loving son Thomas Hagan one shillingsterling.
ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loving daughter May Mahoney one shilling sterling.
ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loving son Ignatius Hagan one shilling sterling.
ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loving son James Hagan one shillingsterling.
ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loving son Bazel Hagan one negroewoman called Cate
also one feather bed and furniture and one cow and calf and two ewews,One table and two
leather chairs and one pewter dish and basin of our plates and one iron pot.
ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loving daughter Eleanor Sansbury one feather bed and
blanket and also two ewes and lambs and one negroe girl named Margaret.
ITEM I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Sarah Mahoney one negroe girl called Henny, also one young heifer.
ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loving children hereafter named Joseph Hagan,
Benjamin Hagan, William Hagan, Henry Hagan all the remaining part of my personal estate
to be equally divided amongst the said children.
ITEM I nominate, constitute and ordain my loving son Bazel Hagan whole and sole executor
of this my Last Will and Testament. I ordain that this Will be my Last Will and Testament.
