Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock a.m., Monday, August 17, 1970, for Lester A. Dykstra, 59, of Orange City, Iowa at the Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City with Rev. Donald Lenderink officiating. Special music was provided by Mr. Lawrence Van Wyk who sang, "In the Garden." Mrs. Clifford Bogaard was organist. Pallbearers included Marvin Mouw, Harlan Mouw, Bob Van Driel, Allen Roos, Alton Vink, and Stan Van Otterloo. Burial was at the Westlawn Cemetery in Orange City with the Van Etten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dykstra passed away August 14, 1970, at the Orange City Municipal Hospital following a lingering illness of leukemia. He was born in Orange City Oct. 27, 1910, to Albert L. Mouw and Helen Yepma. He married Nell Westra on Jan. 18, 1935.
He is survived by the widow; one son, Alfred Lee; three sisters, Mrs. John Goslinga of Hospers, Mrs. Harry Mouw of Orange City, and Mrs. Ben W. Bruins of Lakewood, Calif.

Funeral services were held at Trinity Reformed Church at Orange City, August 17 for Lester A. Dykstra, 59, of Orange City, who died August 14 at the Orange City hospital.
Burial was made in West Lawn cemetery at Orange City.
Mr. Dykstra was born October 27, 1910. He was married to Nell Westra January 18, 1935, and was an Orange City municipal employee for 28 years.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Fred, of Orange City; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Mouw of Orange City, Mrs. John Gosinga of Hospers and Mrs. Ben Bruins of Bellflower, Calif.
