"Golden Wedding
Our old county man and former townsman, Mr. James Robinson, will have
a family gathering at his residence in the northern part of the county
on next Tuesday, the 19th inst. The occasion will be the celebration
of the fiftieth anniversary of his marriage which all members of the
family will no doubt be present and in the gathering will be found
many children, sons and daughters grown to manhood and womanhood and
also grandchildren and great grandchildren. The prattling merriment
of baby voices will unconsciously blend with the sober serious tomes
of old age and all will make a scene that will call up many menories
of the long ago to the old grandfather and grandmother. The occassion
will be one of peculiar pleasure and we trust many occurrences of the
day may yet be allowed the old couple who have walked hand in hand
through the sunshine and shadows of life for a full half a century."
