Services for Mr. Oscar Boyd Lochridge, 64, of 305 St. Joseph St., Henderson, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, at Bryan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Ellis and Dr. Harold Springfield officiating. Interment will be Moyers Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
Mr. Lochridge died at 10:05 a.m. Saturday at U.T. Health Center in Tyler after a sudden illness. He was born Apr. 16, 1925 in Rusk County and had lived in Rusk County all his life. He was a member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church for 28 years and was retired from Henderson Clay Products Brick Co. for 22 years. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gracie Lochridge, three daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Ann & Joe Lock of Laneville, Mrs. Ginger & Don Durouen of Hampton, Va., and Mrs. Susie & Gary Kappen of Henderson; four sisters, Mrs. Fay Oca of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Inez Foy of Ralls, Mrs. Necial McLain of Henderson and Mrs. Evelyn Chesley of Dallas; five grandchildren, Joey Bryan, Monica Oney, Jo Anna Lock, J. C. Lock and Chris Kappen; two great-grandchildren, David and Ashley Oney.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Lee Morris, Curtis Lockridge, Ike Bryan, Bobbie Helpinstill, Delmer Bane, Charles Van Morris and Marshall Davis.
