Rev. Harry Judd officiated at the service and burial was made in Osceola Cemetery under the direction of the Goodrich Funeral Home of Osceola, Missouri. Mrs. Roeder, daughter of William Pitt and Maria Louisa (Paxton) Holcombe, was born December 18, 1881, in South Dakota. She moved to Missouri with her parents in 1894. At an early age she professed her faith and later joined the Christian Church at Roscoe, Missouri. She was married to Louis Albert Roeder on October 11, 1903, at Vista, Missouri. Nine Children were born to the couple. Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, one sister, two grand-children, one great grand-daughter, her husband April 3, 1944, and a son Arthur Henry Roeder January 8, 1960. Survivors are eight children; Mrs. Florence Maud Shields of Collins, Missouri, Mrs. Mary Winifred Manley of Plymouth, Illinois, Fred Dee Roeder of Henderson, Iowa, Charley Lewis Roeder of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs Ruth Elizabeth Roberts of Roscoe, Missouri, Harry Jonathan Roeder of Roscoe, Missouri, and Mrs Mildred Margaret Cooper of Collins, Missouri. Three sisters; Mrs. Maud Metzler of Zion, Illinois, Mrs. Nellie Roeder and Mrs. Ruth Osburn of Osceola, Missouri, one brother; Harry Holcombe of Osceola, Missouri, 16 grand-children, nine great grand-children, and a number of nieces and nephews.
