Sir Thomas Granville, of Stow, who took part in an insurrection against Richard III., but was pardoned. In the 15th of the following reign, we find him an esquire of the body to the king, and the next year he was made a knight of the Bath at the creation of Arthur, Prince of Wales. He d. about 6 Henry VIII. By Isabel, his 1st wife, dau. of Sir Oates Gilbert, of Compton, in Devon, he had two sons and six daus., viz.,

V. Mary, m. 1st. to Richard Bluet, and 2ndly, to Thomas St. Aubyn;
VI. Honor, m. 1st, to John Basset, and 2ndly, to Arthur Plnntagenet. Sir Thomas m. 2ndly, Jane, widow of Hill, and had by her one son, John, and a dau. Jane, m. 1st, to Button, and 2ndly, to Raleigh.
