Hello, I have a little more/different info to share.
Eleazer Larrabee, son of Willet and Dorothy Clark-Preston was born in Preston, CT about 1735. He was an officer in the French and Indian War in 1756. He married first about 1755 to Mary Lamb, daughter of David Lamb and in 1761 he married Sarah Hall at West Greenwich, CT. Sarah was daughter of George and Sarah (Dill) Hall. Eleazer and Sarah moved with their family to the area of nortwestern Massachusetts/southwestern Vermont and eastern New York. Eleazer died at the home of his son Artemus who agreed to care for him.
Their children were, Eleazer, a member of the Vermont Green Mountain Boys, Joseph, Asaph, Willet, Ozias, Eccobee and my great, great grandfather, Artemus Bruce.

Hi Rob,
I saw im your above message that you descend from Artemus Bruce Larrabee ? I am going to AssUme your talking of Artemus and Olive (Rose) Larrabe ? If so ? We are distant cousins. Their daughter Hannah Larrabee, b. 1812 VT/NY. married Henry Collamer Greene who as you probably know is of Nathan Greene who along with his bro. Job, helped to co-found St. Albans, VT. Anyways, yours is the first break I have found in trying to find anything out about them. I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on this line. Thanks!

Artemus Bruce Larabee was born about 1774 in Stevenstown, New York. He was the youngest son of Eleazer Larrabee and his second wife Sarah Hall. Artemus married Olive Rose around 1800 in the Stevenstown area. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Rose. They moved to St. Albans, Vermont around 1827. Olive is buried in the Greenwood cemetary in St Albans. Artemus died while living with his daughter, Olive, in Cambridge, VT in the 1850's.
