Another Edward Littlejohns of the same name was born a few years after my Edward (c1781) in Shebbear and was probably a cousin.HIS father was Jeremiah and mother Susannah, Yes the Edward Littlejohnsyou have, father of Jane Littlejohns who marries George Babb is not my EdwardLittlejohns. Mine was born a few years after yours. They are very likelycousins though. As I mentioned earlier the father of my Edward is Jeremiah, thefather of your Edward is Edward (unsure of his mother, at this point).
You are correct I don't have Jeremiah andSusannah on my tree. I keep my full tree offline on my laptop to work on andthen add branches to ancestry as I work through certain parts.
the father of this EdwardShebbear born c1776 in Shebbear who appears in the 1851 census, his father isEdward. That Edward could possibly be a brother of Jeremiah Littjoehns, myEdwards' father.

this is not the sameEdward Littlejohns that was married first to Temperance Dodge and then to SarahAddy (my 4 xgreat grandmother).

My Edward was born c1781 in Shebbear to Jeremiahand Susannah Littlejohns and he died 1828 in Plymouth. His parents Jeremiah andSusannah also ended up in Plymouth, they never resided in Black Torrington.

They are possibly related somewhere back intheir line, I would at a guess, say both edwards fathers are brothers orsimilar.

EdwardLittlejohns who was married to first Temperance Dodge and secondly Sarah Addydied in 1828, so wouldn't of appeared in the 1851 census.
