Box Elder Journal; March 14, 1968Honeyville Man Dies Sunday A.M.Alvin Austin Hunsaker, 72, of Honeyville died Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the Cooley Hospital after a short illness.Born May 16, 1895 at Honeyville, he was a son of Isaac and Eliza Maria Hansen Hunsaker. He was reared and educated in Honeyville.He had been a farmer and livestock dealer.On Feb. 14, 1918, he married Pansy Perry in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.AN ACTIVE MEMBER of the LDS church, he was a high priest in the Honeyville LDS ward at the time of his death. He had served on the genealogical committee and was a temple worker.He was a member of the Honeyville Senior Citizens committee. He was also a long time member of the Farm Bureau Federation.SURVIVING are his widow, Honeyville; four sons and daughters, Martell Hunsaker, Mrs. Verl (Leila) Grover, both of Brigham City; Perry Hunsaker, Honeyville; Donald O. Hunsaker, Roy; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Heber Hunsaker, Honeyville; Oscar Hunsaker, Salt Lake City.Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Honeyville LDS ward chapel. Burial was in the Honeyville Cemetery under the direction of the Harold B. Felt Funeral Home.
