Harvey Wile is the son of Philip Wile and Harriet Monn, and the husband of Malinda (Linnie) Effie Jacobs. He is the father of Maurice Clifford Wile, Verna Wile McGinley, Ada Wile Garver, Phillis Wile, Madge Wile, Hayes Wile, Erma Wile Coy, Harriet Sadona Wile, Maxwell Eugene Robert Wile and Cornelia Wile Murray
Death Resulted From Complication of Diseases - Survived by Mother, Widow and Seven Children
H.B. Wile died Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at his home on Penn Street from heart and tubercular trouble, aged 47 years, 5 months and 15 days. He had been ill since December 5 but his condition only appeared to take a serious turn several days ago.
H.B. Wile was born in Mont Alto, the son of Philip and Harriet Wile. He resided in that town up until the past year when he moved to Waynesboro. He was a member of the United Brethren church, Mont Alto, and during his long residence in that town was one of its best citizens. He was a kind father and a neighborly man, ever ready to lend a helping hand to all.
Besides his aged mother, Mrs. Harriet Wile, and his widow, Mrs Linnie Wile, the following children survive: Miss Verna Wile, Clifford, Phyllis, Erma, Max, and Cornelius (Cornelia), all at home, and Ada Wile, Mont Alto. Also the following sisters and brothers surviving: Mrs. Margaret Miner, Mrs. Jennie Kauffman and Mrs. Annie Staley, all of Mont Alto, and David Wile, of New Cumberland.
