They founded the abbey in 721.
Through Charibert's daughter https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bertrada_of_Laon">Bertrada of Laon, wife of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pippin_the_Short">Pippin the Short, Bertrada is the great-grandmother of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlemagne">Charlemagne. Her husband is unknown for certain, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Settipani">Settippani believes that he was a son of an Irmina, in turn a daughter of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugobert">Hugobert, and Chariveus, Count of Laon.
