Revolutionary War, 1776, Capt. J.Taylor Co., 4th Pa. Bat.
Please disregard false linked children, they were children of a different father of the same name.
His place of birth is varied in family trees with at least four different locations. Any suggestion will only be filled with actual birth documents.
However, it is very unlikely this person is the same Christian Grim from Greene county. As early as 1800 two Christian Grims appear in census records, one in Greene and the other in Berks. Christian of this memorial mentions no spouse or children in his will. Only mentioned names are as in the excerpt following:
"GRIM, CHRISTIAN.
November 21, 1823 - December 8, 1823.
All my estate in the hands of my friend Conrad SPATZ, if I should die at his house.
To friend Jacob BECKER my large Bible.
Exrs: Conrad SPATZ and Martin ESHLEMAN.
Wit: Henry FLICKINGER and Johannes SPATZ."
All of his property was given to his friend Conrad Spatz, except his bible, to Jacob Becker
