Passed away Tuesday morning, January 1, 2013 in Grand Rapids. Joyce was born May 25, 1931 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Charlie and Helen (Kelly) DeKam. She was a member of Northern Heights Christian Reformed Church; and prior to her retirement, worked for several years with Checker Motor Company. On March 23, 1956 she was united in marriage to Aapko "Coley" Nap who preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marie Horak. She is survived by her children, Ruth (Kevin) Billiau, Mary (Mike) Hottovy, Alan (Sandy) Nap; grandchildren, Katlyn, Melissa, Seth, and Jordyn; a sister, Charlene (James) Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00am Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Friends may meet the family this evening from 6-8pm or one hour prior to the service at the Westside Chapel. Private interment will be in West Cooper Cemetery.
