William Combe, age 6 (son of William & Susanna) apprenticed to Andrew Cobley, yeoman 30 May 1806 Elizabeth Greenslade, age 7 (daughter of John & Bridget) apprenticed to Andrew Cobley, yeoman 30 Mar 1807 William Tolley ordered to continue with Andrew Cobley, brother and executor of Jacob Cobley, deceased 8 Jan 1811 Bank of England Wills Extracts Andrew COBLEY of East Worlington Devonshire Farmer died possessed of £200 Consols @ 65 £130 and by his Will dated 6 December 1814 attested by three witnesses appointed Thomas Comins and John Spencer/ in the Will written Spenser/Executors to whom probate was granted at Doctors Commons 31 January 1815 In the Will are the following words Whereas I am now possessed of two hundred pounds in the three per cent Consolidated Annuities Now I do hereby give and vest the whole of the said Two hundred pounds in the Minister and Church Wardens of the Parish of East Worlington for the time being upon Trust £200 Consols to be transferred to the present Minister and Church Wardens of the parish of East Worlington in the county of Devon the devices in trust and left at their disposal. HYATT There being as it appears by a letter from Mr Thomas Comins one of the Executors, only one churchwarden of the parish of East Worlington the above and may be transferred to the Minister and such churchwarden.
