(* Bethoc of Scotland is listed, by many websites and sources, as daughter of Donald Bane, King of Scotland, however there are glaring mistakes in these claims. Donald Bane was born c1034 and Bethoc not until c1100, making him about 66 years old when he fathered her ( + he appears to have died c1099). Some sites get round this by stating Bethoc was born c1066, which looks good, until you realise that her daughter, Hextilda, was not born until 1122, making Bethoc about 66 when she gave birth!)
