29 Oct 1223 Pleas in a month from the feast of St Michael, Oxford - The Master of the soldiery of the Temple in England claims versus Hugh de Hoddingesele, and Basilia, his wife, that they shall warrant to him, along with David de Lindesi, 6 hides of land in Bradewelle that he holds of them, and claims by the charters of Alan de Lymesia and Gerard his son, father of said Basilia, and grandfather of said David whose heirs they are.
Hugh de Odingsells and Basilia de Limesi were both alive from 1224-27, when with David de Lindesi of Scotland, they had interests in John de Limesi's heritage, and in the heirs of Amabilis de Limesi, who identity remains undisclosed. Hugh de Odingsells died 1238-39, but the chances are that he died before that date as his son Hugh died about that time.
