1668 Jun. 3. He and John Cook were granted privilege to keep the ferry at Pocasset.

1672, Jan. 20. He sold Joseph Davol, of Newport, a share at Puncatest for £5.
1676, Sep, 1. Testimony was given at Newport by his Indian servant Suckats Squa, that she heard Manasses say that he had killed an Englishman at Pocasset. In Benjamin Church's account of the Indian wars it is mentioned that Daniel Wilcox was "a man that well understood the Indian Language."
1677, May 10. He and wife Elizabeth sold Martha Wait, widow of Jeremiah, of Portsmouth, one-eighth of a share of land in Dartmouth for £16.
1678, Jun. 5. He was granted £10, in consideration of a considerable charge by him sustained in answer of a suit against him in Rhode Island, and verdict of £20 obtained against him, to make good the charge of a man lately cured who was wounded in the late war.
1680 Mar. 5. He, of Puncatest, and seven others, bought of Gov. Josiah Winslow, &c, land at Pocasset for £1,100. He had two of the 30 shares.
1692 Mar. 2. Tiverton. He was an inhabitant at the organization of the town.
1699, Sep. 26. Lord Bellomont in his journal, under this date mentions that he had received a petition from the sheriff of Bristol County, complaining that one Daniel Wilcox, of Little Compton, having been convicted of high misdemeanor and sentenced to pay a fine of £150, &c, had made his
escape and fled unto the government of Rhode Island, notwithstanding a demand made on the Governor of Rhode Island by Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts.
