  LEACH, Mr. Archibald - The Progressive Age Jan 11, 1860 Wednesday - Died at his residence in Adams township, on Sunday the 25th of December 1859, Mr. Archibald LEACH aged 62 years. Mr. LEACH has been a resident of Coshocton County for over 30 years. He lived a respectable life, and died lamented by all who knew him. Sarah Ferguson is from Coshocton County and the Archibald Leach who md. Rosanna Wheatley is from Jackson County, and these appear to be different families.

Both families are still represented in the township. About the time the Ohio canal was built, settlers began to arrive rapidly, and in a few years thereafter the land was all taken up."
