In the 20th year of King Edward III. he was at the battle of Durham, and he was for a time Governor of Berwick-on-Tweed. They had a son, John de Mowbray, who succeeded, and a dau., Alianore Mowbray, who became the 3rd wife of Roger, Lord la Warre, born 1326, died 1370. Alianore has been presumed to have been the daughter of her brother John de Mowbray, but this pedigree has been amended.
