Hilduin IV became Count of Roucy and Montdidier through his marriage with Adela. "Europaische Stammtafeln," Band III, gives his death year as 1061.

Montdidier is a town in northern France which dates from the Merovingian period, perhaps deriving its name from the imprisonment of Lombard king Didier there in the 8th Century - it is on a hill on the Don river.
