op "Coenersheem", een heerd gelegen tussen 't Zandt en Zijldijk met grazen land.
Egge Jacobs was a farmer between 1758 and 1809 on the farm Feldwerder Voorwerk, Kolholsterweg 5, Zijldijk. In 1758 he was 37 years old. This farm belonged to the parents of Aske Bartelds, Egge's second wife and an only child. Her father Barteld Hindriks and mother Cornelisjen Jacobs sell the farm to their son-in-law and daughter, according to a 1758 deed from Gericht 't Zandt, and move themselves to the Drieborg farm on Westerweg in' t Zandt.

Egge Jacobs and Martje Siewerts, like so many people from North Groningen, did not have a formal surname, but after 7 Mar 1812 their children called themselves Arkema. This is possibly because Martje's parents lived on "De Arke" near Zijldijk. This farm had played an important role in the Mennonite movement in the 16th century and Egge Jacobs and his wife both came from Mennonite families.
Egge Jacobs also was a Mennonite deacon.
