William Holbrook married first, about 1643 but prior to 1655, [[Pitts-3|Elizabeth Pitts]], daughter of Elizabeth Pitts.
He lived at Weymouth until 1663, when he removed to Mendon. After the indians drove him back, in 1676, he settled in Scituate.
Elizabeth died at Scituate, Massachusetts in 1696. He married secondly, about 1696, [[Wright-643|Abigail Wright]], who survived him. William was her third husband. Anderson, Robert C. Abigail Wright was born in England about 1623, and came to New England in 1630 with her father Richard Wright. Vol. 99: pp. 240-2: Vital Records from The NEHGS Register. Online database. Abigail had married first about 1640, Robert Sharpe who died in July 1653/4. and married secondly, about 1657, Thomas Clap who died April 20, 1684.
