Norbert Francis Thull
BELOIT — Norbert Francis Thull, 84, Beloit, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit. Mr. Thull was born July 23, 1914, at Cawker City. He was a tank wagon agent at Standard Oil in Beloit and a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Beloit. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6242, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Banner Burger Bar Coffee Group and Sunny Slope Board.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline; three sons, Roger L. of Salina, Gary of Des Moines, Iowa, and Richard Alan of Lubbock, Texas; a daughter, Sue Friend of Wichita; a brother, Phil of Beloit; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Msgr. James Hake and the Rev. Henry Baxa officiating; Burial will be in the church cemetery with VFW military rites. A parish rosary followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Education Fund and Solomon Valley Hospice, both of Beloit.
Visitation will be at Harrison' Funeral Home, 302 N. Hersey, Beloit 67420.
