Geboorte datum: 1851/1854
There is evidence of an unknown child that was born between 1851 and 1854 and
dying before 15 October 1856. On the birth certificate of Georgina Pridmore,
a successive daughter to Rueben and Ann Pridmore, who was born on the 15 Oct.
1856, it is stated that "of previous issue" to her parents there were "two
living" and "two deceased" children. The two living were unquestionably Ellen
and Samuel Rueben, as these two children were born prior to 1856. One of the
deceased was Rueben, but who the other was we don't know. We do know that an
infant named "Robin Pridmore" died in Adelaide on 16 Nov. 1852, a male, aged
ten weeks, from inflamation of the brain--Death Register of S.A., Book 2, page
160, No 3797. There was no other data or parentage given. Therefore the
birth of this child occurred near the end of August or near the beginning of
Sept. in 1852, which period neatly fits into the time-slot mentioned. The
only known Pridmore woman of those years free to give birth was Ann Pridmore,
the wife of Rueben Pridmore. Hence on the material given, Robin is considered
to be a member of this family.
