B. 1829, counselor in the Prussian judicial system (Justizrat) andmunicipal politician, from 1873 a member of the municipal parliament. One of the first Jewish lawyers admitted to the Prussian state service. As a government councilor (Governmentalrat), he was transferred to the county town of Milicz in Lower Silesia, Poland, and two years later to Poznan. In 1879, thanks to the successes he enjoyed and the esteemed he enjoyed, he was elected to the board of the Poznan Chamber of Advocates (Posener AnwaltsComber), and in 1894 became its chairman.
For 28 years, Orgler was a member of the city council. When in 1901 he resigned from the office of the chairman, he was appointed an honorary citizen of Poznan and received the honorary title of secret counsel in the judiciary (Geheimer Justizrat). Julius Orgler died on April 25, 1902 in Poznan [1.1] .
