John de Tybetot, Lord Tybetot, b. 20 July 1313, d. 13 Apr 1367; m. (1) as her 2nd husband, Margaret de Badlesmere, b. 3 Dec 1344- 4 Dec 1347, daughter of Bartholomew de Badlesmere and Margaret de Clare (33-6). [Magna Charta Sureties]n 20 July 1313 and given seisin of his lands, 21 September 1334. He was summoned against the Scots in 1335, to Parliament from 1 April 1335 to 20 January 1365/6, and to Councils from 21 June 1337 to 10 February 1361/2. In October 1337 he was granted protection preparatory to foreign service, he was abroad on the King's service in the retinue of the Bishop of Lincoln in 1338 and was allowed, November 1339, to take wheat out of the country as he was about to sail on royal service. He was appointed Keeper of Berwick-on-Tweed, from 16 April 1346, and Chancellor of that town, 21 May following. In March 1352 he appointed attorneys for one year before going to Ireland.rtholomew, 1st LORD BADLESMERE, by Margaret, daughter of Thomas DE CLARE. She died between 3 December 1344 and 4 December 1347. He married, 2ndly, before Trinity 1348, Elizabeth, probably widow of Sir (John?] DE WAUTON, daughter of Sir Robert ASPALL, of Aspall, Suffolk, by Alice, daughter of Hugh DE CRESSINGHAM.
