BARONY OF UFFORD (I)ant to himself and his heirs of free warren at Parham and Wickham, Suffolk. He was summoned to Parliament from 4 March 1308/9 to 19 December 1311, by writs directed Roberto de Ufford, whereby he is held to have become LORD UFFORD. On 12 September 1309 he was about to go to Ireland.las TREGOZ (died shortly before 2 June 1279), of Tolleshunt D'Arcy, Essex. He died on or before 9 September 1316, aged 37. His widow, who was aged 1 in 1282 and was going on pilgrimage beyond the seas in February 1318/9, died 16 July 1325, aged 44. His lordship was in the expedition made into Scotland in the 34th Edward I [1306]. He m. Cecily, one of the daus. and co-heirs of Sir Robert de Valoines, Knt., Lord or Walsham, and had issue, Robert, his successor; John, archbishop of Canterbury, d. 1318; Ralph, Justice of Ireland; and Edmund. He d. in 1316, and was s. by his eldest son, Robert de Ufford.
